Zaporizhia Law Enforcement Shuts Down Drug Dealer
In Zaporizhia, law enforcement officers have shut down the activities of a 55-year-old man who was offering cannabis and methamphetamine to his «clients» and providing them with premises for drug use. He faces up to 10 years in prison with property confiscation.
Illegal Drug Distribution and Use
According to the results of operational measures, the police found that the man, who already had a criminal record, was distributing drugs and providing conditions for their use. On July 16, law enforcement officers conducted a search at his house, during which they seized approximately 100 grams of cannabis, over 15 grams of methamphetamine, smoking paraphernalia, and cash, presumably of illegal origin.
Suspicion of Criminal Activity
The man has been informed of suspicion of committing crimes under Part 2 of Article 317 (organization or maintenance of places for the illegal use of drugs) and Part 2 of Article 307 (illegal production, storage, or sale of narcotic drugs) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The court will decide on the preventive measure.
