Uzhgorod Receives Certificate for Second League Participation
Uzhgorod has received a certificate to participate in the Second League, as reported by Tribuna.com with reference to the President of the Professional Football League, Oleksandr Kadenko.
Initially, the PFL did not issue certificates to Uzhgorod and Odessa’s Titan, but Uzhgorod’s appeal was successful. However, Titan will not receive a professional status.
In addition to Uzhgorod, the newcomers to the Second League will be Kulikiv-Bilka (Lviv region), Revera 1908 (Ivano-Frankivsk), Probiy (Horodenka), and Vilkhivtsi (Zakarpattia). Reserve teams of several UPL clubs will also participate in the tournament.
The final list of participants of the Second League 2024/25 will be known in approximately a week. The draw will take place on 9 or 10 July.
