Innovative Unmanned Underwater Vehicle Presented by Northrop Grumman

In the spring of this year, the military-industrial corporation Northrop Grumman presented a prototype of an unmanned underwater vehicle Manta Ray, designed for long missions. The development of this vehicle, commissioned by DARPA, took four years.

Advanced Features and Functionality

New videos show its maneuverability and functionality, including the ability to change buoyancy and be in a dormant mode. The Manta Ray is launched from a pier and is equipped with two propellers for movement.
