During a nighttime attack, two patrol police officers were injured while on their way to the scene to assist citizens. During a subsequent explosion, law enforcement officers sustained mine-explosive injuries. They have been hospitalized and their condition is stable,» commented the consequences of the nighttime drone attack on Odesa by the South Defense Forces.
Military officials also showed videos and photos of the destruction suffered by an educational institution in the city due to the attack by the Russian army.
«Destroying a college, frightening children, disrupting the educational process — all these are means of terror with which the enemy is pressuring the peaceful residents of Odesa. Is this how the ‘Russian world’ is being imposed on the younger generation?» noted the South Defense Forces.
The press service of the Odesa Regional Prosecutor’s Office stated that a criminal investigation has been initiated into the violation of laws and customs of war (part 1 of article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, on February 8, the armed forces of the Russian Federation carried out an aerial attack with drones on Odesa.
