The Importance of Leaders’ Responsibilities During Martial Law and Mobilization

The Ukrainian government has outlined the crucial powers and duties of leaders in companies and organizations during times of martial law and mobilization in the country. This is laid out in Resolution No. 560 dated May 16, 2024.

Leaders of enterprises, institutions, and organizations are mandated to deliver their employees to the Territorial Centers for Recruitment and Social Support (TCRS) as part of their obligations. Upon receiving an order from the administration or TCRS leader, they must notify reservists and conscripts, detailing the reason, purpose, and logistics of their arrival.

Employers must ensure that the notification process occurs during working hours, with responsible citizens delivering notices for their employees to sign personally. Within three days, they must report back to the TCRS on the outcomes of the notification process and the compliance of reservists and conscripts with legal requirements.

It is the responsibility of employers to transport reservists and conscripts from their workplace to the TCRS gathering point. They must promptly inform the TCRS about any employees who refuse to receive notices or apply for dismissal.
