Manchester City striker Erling Haaland and his plans for retirement
Manchester City striker and Norwegian national team player Erling Haaland is already starting to think about his retirement.
Unlike many young footballers who, earning a big salary, spend it on unnecessary things, the Norwegian is thinking about the future.
Together with his childhood friend Ole Ertvaag, the striker decided to purchase a new luxury car — the Mercedes AMG One supercar.
The cost of the car is 2.5 million euros, but with taxes it will amount to around 3.13 million euros.
The car is equipped with five Formula-1 engines and can reach a top speed of 352 km/h. It accelerates to 200 km/h in seven seconds, and to 300 km/h in 15.6 seconds.
However, if you want to see the famous striker driving the new sports car, you will be disappointed. The car is an investment, as the Mercedes AMG One is released in a limited series of 275 units and will be much more expensive in a few years.
Perhaps it was Ole Ertvaag who facilitated this purchase, as he is the founder of the investment company HiTecVision.
For Haaland’s trips, he has simpler cars. He owns a Rolls Royce Cullinan for 350,000 euros, an Audi RS6 Avant, and a Range Rover Sport, each valued at 140,000 euros.
