III Black Sea Festival of Children’s Creativity «Dialogue of Cultures»
The III Black Sea Festival of Children’s Creativity «Dialogue of Cultures» took place in the Summer Theater of the city of Batumi (Georgia), organized with the support of the Embassy of Ukraine in Georgia, the Batumi City Hall, and the Adjara Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This was reported by Ukrinform according to the Facebook page of the embassy.
Supporting Ukrainian Children
At the event, Ukrainian children from Kherson, Mariupol, Skadovsk, Melitopol, and Zaporizhia, who came to Georgia in the conditions of Russian aggression against Ukraine, presented their creativity on the prestigious stage. They were supported by young artists from Poltava, Kremenchuk, and Horishni Plavni, as well as creative groups from Lithuania and Georgia. Special guests of the festival were singers — Salome Mirianashvili (Georgia) and MUDRA (Ukraine), who performed a Georgian song in a wonderful duet with the Ukrainian artist Anna Voytenko.
Exhibition and Recognition
Also, as part of the event, an exhibition of works by the photographer Maxim Starikov, entitled «Children’s Thoughts,» dedicated to Ukrainian children affected by war, was organized. Nine black and white photographs depicted children with their dreams, stories, and hopes for a future without war and conflicts. The organizers of the festival — the Poltava Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Poltava Regional Children’s Public Organization «Century of Beauty» — presented special diplomas and memorable gifts to all participants.
Gratitude to Supporters
The organizers expressed their gratitude for the assistance to the representative of the business community of Batumi, Mr. Sulhan Lortkipanidze.
