The head of the Kharkiv Regional Administration, Oleg Synegubov, has announced his intention to organize the forced evacuation of families with children from areas near the border.
This issue will be discussed at the session of the Regional Defense Council.
According to Synegubov, on the border territories, which are constantly shelled, there are no children, according to the police.
However, the regional administration intends to make decisions regarding the evacuation of the population from areas that, although further from the border, still face frequent shelling.
Special attention is being paid to the Kharkiv and Bohodukhiv districts, known as the Zolochiv direction.
Last year, a planned evacuation of children from several communities in the Kharkiv region was announced.
Currently, evacuation from Kharkiv is not being considered, as the city, according to the authorities, is under protection.
However, air defense resources are limited, which requires further precautionary measures.
