Overnight shelling in Volchansk, Kharkiv region
Overnight shelling by Russian forces in Volchansk, Kharkiv region, resulting in damage to a warehouse and four hangars, was the result of combat actions. This was reported by the head of the military administration of the Kharkiv region, Oleg Synegubov. He also noted that artillery and mortar shelling took place near 15 settlements, including Dvurichna, Synkovtsi, Petropavlivka, and air strikes were carried out on Bologovets, Osinove, Mitrofanivka. It was also reported that at 01:05 in Volchansk, a warehouse and four hangars were damaged due to shelling from MLRS, no information about casualties was received.
Other recent attacks
Earlier on February 29, Russian forces shelled Kozacha Lopan in the Kharkiv region and also struck Volchansk, damaging economic structures. Additionally, as a result of ammunition dropped from a drone in Mitrofanivka, Kupyansk district, a woman and a man were injured. Drone attacks led to damage to private houses and cars in Volchansk, as well as injuring a woman. As a result of an attack using FAB-500 in Osinove, Kupyansk district, a crossing was damaged and a man was injured. Enemy forces also shelled Synelnykove in the Chuguev district, damaging a private house.
