The Herston City Court approves property arrest of Department of Culture head
The Herston City Court has approved the arrest of the property of Yuri Saveliev, the head of the Department of Culture of the occupation administration. The relevant decision was made based on the registry of court documents.
The arrest includes two residential buildings, parts of a building, a car, and parts of Saveliev’s apartment. He is accused of collaborationism, as stated by the regional prosecutor’s office.
According to the investigation, Saveliev began cooperating with the Russians in June 2022. During his leadership, personnel were selected for management by receiving written applications from individuals who expressed a desire to work for him.
