A preventive measure in the form of detention has been chosen for a man suspected of attacking a driver with a knuckle-duster at a gas station in Vinnytsia City Court.
The court established that the suspect, while driving a car, had a conflict with the victim who had stopped nearby. After a verbal altercation, he forced the victim to leave the vehicle and struck him multiple times with a knuckle-duster, causing serious bodily harm.
The court granted the request of the prosecution and applied a preventive measure in the form of detention without the right to post bail for the suspect. Investigative actions are currently ongoing in this case.
The suspicion of hooliganism was reported by the communication department of the Vinnytsia region police.
