Deputy Mykhailo Tsimbaliuk’s Proposal to Relieve TCRC Employees from Street Summons

Deputy Mykhailo Tsimbaliuk expressed the belief that it is possible to relieve employees of territorial recruitment centers (TCRC) from issuing summons on the streets already. He emphasized that according to the law and the government resolution, TCRCs have the right to hand out summons by postal delivery to the place of residence of the conscript. However, the deputy expressed doubts as to whether TCRCs will adhere to this algorithm.

He noted that today there are enough resources in the training centers to analyze the information received and send summons by mail, so there is no need to hand them out on the streets. At the same time, Mykhailo Tsimbaliuk expressed some doubts as to whether TCRCs will actually be able to comply with the requirements of the law regarding centralized printing of summons and their proper delivery.

Representatives of TCRCs, in turn, reported that currently the law allows them to hand out summons on the streets and in public places, and such practices remain in force, at least for now.
