Former world champion Naseem Hamed is confident that Ukrainian boxer Oleksandr Usyk deserves a place in the Hall of Fame. In his appearance on the iFL TV YouTube channel, Hamed emphasized Usyk’s exceptional abilities alongside other great boxers.

«Oleksandr Usyk is on a whole different level. He is a future Hall of Famer, just like Tyson. We support Fury, but Usyk is something special,» Hamed said.

Usyk’s triumph over Tyson Fury

It is worth noting that Oleksandr Usyk claimed victory over Tyson Fury in a bout for the undisputed heavyweight world champion title. The Ukrainian defended his WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO titles and secured the WBC in a recent fight that took place in Saudi Arabia.

Rematch on the horizon

It is planned that a rematch between Usyk and Fury will take place on December 21st of this year.
