Fire Incident in Khust
On May 30, 2024, at 3:02 pm, a report of a fire in an apartment on Zhaivoronkova Street in Khust was received by the rescue service. According to the State Emergency Service, the fire broke out in one of the apartments of a residential building. Responding quickly, rescuers were able to localize and extinguish the flames.
Unfortunately, a woman was injured during the incident and was hospitalized with burns and carbon monoxide poisoning. Preliminary information suggests that a part of the domestic property covering an area of 10 square meters was destroyed by the fire. The cause and extent of the damage from the fire are currently being investigated.
Three units of equipment from the 14th State Fire and Rescue Unit in Khust were involved in extinguishing the fire.
