Women in Donetsk region offered training to combat violence against women

A Series of Training Sessions on Combating Violence for Women in Donetsk Region

A series of training sessions on combating violence has been organized for women from communities in Donetsk region. This information was reported by the Donetsk Regional State Administration.

Information sessions for women and girls from communities in Donetsk region were conducted by representatives of the charitable foundation «Slavic Heart» in collaboration with the Department of Family, Youth, and Mass Events Management for National-Patriotic Education of the Donetsk RSA.

A total of 10 thematic events were held offline and online for women and girls from the territorial communities of Dobropilsk, Kostyantynivska, Kramatorsk, Kryvyi Rih, Mykolaivska, Novodonetska, Oleksandrivska, Cherkaska, Pokrovska, and Sviatohirska.

The purpose of the events is to present the project, provide information on services for women victims, and improve skills in identifying gender-based violence, domestic violence, and methods to overcome them.
