Over the past two years, communal services have cut down 2891 trees, but information about other periods has been lost, as reported by «NikVesti». The Department of Housing and Communal Services of Nikolaev explained that the documents disappeared while the units were stationed in the territorial defense building.
Missing Documents
Although information about missing property from the administrative building on Admiral Makarov Street has not been disclosed, the Housing and Communal Services Department believes that the documents may have been lost between February 27, 2022, and February 28, 2022.
After the territorial defense units were discovered in the building, two theft reports were filed with the police. Representatives of the Housing and Communal Services Department believe that the documents may not have actually disappeared. Therefore, they assured journalists that if the information is found, a comprehensive response to the journalists’ request will be provided. In early February 2023, a shortage of equipment amounting to nearly 3 million hryvnias was discovered in the Nikolaev City Council. However, a theft report to the police was only made after Nikcenter journalists pointed it out.
