Missile Attack on Kharkiv Region
On the night of Tuesday, February 6, the Russian army launched a missile attack on the Kharkiv region.
At 02:05, an air alarm was declared in the region. The chief of the Kharkiv garrison, Serhiy Melnyk, called on residents to stay in shelters through his Telegram channel «General Marcel.»
By 02:22, new missile launches were reported. Head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, Oleh Syniehubov, urged people to seek safe places.
Eight minutes later, Melnyk stated no more missiles were in the region’s airspace, but the threat of new strikes remains, especially for residents of Kharkiv. Casualty and destruction reports are being assessed. By 02:45, air alarms were declared in Sumy, Poltava, and Kharkiv regions.
