The All-Ukrainian competition results
The All-Ukrainian competition for the construction of a memorial complex at the military burials of the Heroes of Ukraine on Mechnikov Street in Lviv has come to an end. The winning project was submitted by architects from Khmelnytskyi, Viktor Holubev and Dmytro Rayfshnayder, which will be further developed in collaboration with an advisory board.
Project Details
The project includes the construction of tomb structures made of white architectural concrete using natural stone («terrazzo»), as well as a columbarium zone — a place for urn burials. To complete the «Field of Mars,» a cross and a prayer structure in honor of the Ukrainian Galician Army will be installed.
