Retired judges in Ukraine receive over 200,000 UAH per month

Judges who resign from the Supreme Court receive pensions of over 200,000 hryvnias per month, OBOZ.UA reports.

According to the declaration, Judge Lyudmyla Stratienko’s pension amounted to over 216,000 hryvnias per month in 2023.

The Constitutional Court has deemed the limitation on judges’ pensions unconstitutional, emphasizing their necessity in ensuring the independence of judges.
