Andrii Rudenko Steps Down as Deputy Mayor of Kharkiv
Andrii Rudenko has left his position as the deputy mayor of Kharkiv by mutual consent. This was confirmed by the city council’s press service.
Rudenko, who was responsible for the city’s vital infrastructure, officially ceased to perform his duties from April 1. His replacement has not yet been appointed.
Andrii Rudenko, born in 1972, was involved in business from 2000 to 2013, heading the board of the CJSC «Saltevsky Bread Factory». From February 2013 to May 2014, he headed the Derhachi district state administration. In February 2015, Rudenko began working as the deputy mayor of Kharkiv for housing and utilities, and from December 2020, he moved to the position of deputy mayor in charge of ensuring the city’s vital functions.
He has also been a member of the Kharkiv City Council since 2002.
After Rudenko’s dismissal, Mayor Ihor Terekhov remains with 9 deputies.
