Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko Opens New Overpass in Obolonsky District
The Mayor of Kyiv, Vitali Klitschko, has announced the opening of a new overpass over Bohatyrska Street on Poliarna Street in the Obolonsky district. The overpass, constructed in 2023, spans a length of 125 meters.
Progress Update
Construction has advanced with the completion of supports and the installation of 72 span beams. An underground pedestrian crossing has been established, along with the addition of modern lighting. The development of bike lanes is also underway on all new infrastructure.
Future Plans
Upcoming work is slated for completion by autumn and will include the finalization of bike lanes, the establishment of public transport stops, and the overall enhancement of the surrounding area.
