Issues with Ammunition
The head of the Ministry of Defense pointed out the problems with ammunition that Europe is facing, and emphasized the importance of increasing domestic arms production in EU countries. He emphasized that there are some successes in this direction and are close to achieving the goal — a million artillery shells that the West promised to transfer to Ukraine in the near future.
Increase in Arms Production
According to estimates, by the end of this year, approximately 1.3 million grenades will be produced in EU countries, and by 2025, further growth in production is expected.
Finnish Support for Ukraine
Chairman of the Defense Committee of the Finnish Parliament Jukka Kopra noted that Finnish weapons can be used to strike Russian territory, and the country has not imposed any restrictions on military assistance provided to Ukraine.
