The idea of economic mobilization reserves will definitely be implemented in Ukraine. In what format — is still unknown.
This was announced by the chairman of the committee, Oleksandr Zavytnevych, in his interview with the BBC, reported by RBC-Ukraine.
«In some form, I think it will definitely happen,» he said.
According to the MP from the «Servant of the People» party, society is divided on the issue of economic reserves, «so that we do not divide into poor and rich.»
«But we will still look for some balance, because, as I repeat again, there is no front without a rear, and there will be no rear without a front. Without our economy, without taxes, who will finance the front,» he added.
In May, the head of the «Servant of the People» faction, Davyd Arakhamia, stated that two models of economic mobilization reserves are being considered in the Rada. The first requires paying a tax on salaries in the amount of 35,000 hryvnias, the second — quota reserves by economic sectors.
A member of the Verkhovna Rada committee on national security, defense, and intelligence, Fedir Venislavsky, stated that from the perspective of many representatives of the executive branch, the issue of economic reserves is relevant. Noting that the issue is being discussed, he remarked that there are no developed projects yet.
