Multiple Cases of Children Consuming Harmful Substances in Kyiv

According to the Kyiv City Children’s Hospital page, on March 23, two children from the same family were admitted to the medical facility with symptoms of consciousness disorder and vomiting. The younger child was transferred to the intensive care unit.

It turned out that both children had consumed chocolate from humanitarian aid without labeling, which contained cannabis, which was the cause of their condition.

On April 26, another child was brought to the hospital in a state of psychomotor agitation with hallucinations, vomiting, dilated pupils, and decreased muscle tone. He had consumed chocolate gifted by his father, which was found to contain psilocybin, a hallucinogenic substance found in magic mushrooms.

All information has been passed on to the police.
