Large Arsenal of Weapons and Ammunition Seized in Mykolaiv
Police operatives of the Criminal Search Department of the Mykolaiv Regional Police received information that a 56-year-old resident of Mykolaiv was storing a significant amount of weapons and ammunition in his garage. Together with investigators from the Mykolaiv District Police Department, the search team conducted an authorized search and uncovered a large arsenal, including TNT grenades, plastic explosives, hand grenades, rocket-propelled grenades, and other ammunition. The seized property was sent for expert examination.
The detained man has been declared a suspect in a criminal case under an article that carries a punishment of up to seven years in prison. Currently, the court has imposed custody as a preventive measure with the possibility of posting bail. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing, with the details being specified by the Mykolaiv Regional Police.
