Head of the National Bank Andriy Pisnyi announced:
Andriy Pisnyi, the Head of the National Bank, has announced that the NBU has transferred almost 40 billion hryvnias of its profit to the state budget. This information was reported by RBC-Ukraine, citing the NBU press service.
Profit Distribution Details:
As per the NBU, the profit available for distribution for the 2023 results was 76.6 billion hryvnias. On April 26, the NBU transferred 37.97 billion hryvnias to increase its general reserves, in line with the law «On the National Bank of Ukraine.» The remaining funds were allocated to the state budget.
Supporting Ukraine’s Capabilities:
«Today, the National Bank transferred 38.64 billion hryvnias to the State Budget of Ukraine,» Pisnyi stated. «These funds will enhance our country’s capabilities and support the war budget.»
Total Contributions:
Since the escalation of the war, the NBU has contributed over 129 billion hryvnias to the state budget to date.
