In Kyiv region, in Bila Tserkva, a schoolboy saved himself and his dog during an explosion in a multi-storey building. It was found out that this happened on March 30, resulting in the deaths of two people. A second-grade student of the First Bila Tserkva Gymnasium, Oleksandr Iziyev, turned out to be the main hero of this story. This was reported on the gymnasium’s Facebook page.

During the explosion and fire that occurred in a neighboring apartment, the boy managed to orient himself and save himself. It is noted that he was home alone, in a locked apartment, and during the events quickly decided to move to another room, wet towels with water, close and seal all door gaps to prevent smoke from entering.

The schoolboy also put on warm clothes, opened a window through which he could call for help. Thanks to the rescuers, the boy soon came out of the damaged multi-storey building and saved his dog. «Alexander’s actions once again demonstrate his courage, intelligence, and ability to act quickly to save his life and the life of his four-legged friend. Sasha, you are a hero!» — added the message.
